CCD joins the Initiative and Referendum Institute at the University of Southern California to file this amicus brief in support of the petition for certiorari in Schmitt v. LaRose, No. 19-974. The case challenges the constitutionality of Ohio laws that give local elections officials discretion to reject ballot initiatives based on their subject matter.
